INSPIRATION :: ANDY GOLDSWORTHY

DANDELIONS

Understanding the relationship between the touch of the human hand interacting with nature to create such a striking, yet temporal statement. The dandelion stands out more for me because the rich vibrancy of its color. Plucking a weed to transport and elevate it to a thing of beauty. Although the materials he uses may not technically be discarded, I love the feeling of an uncontrolled restraint, only bound by the physical limits of the material and the environment in which they are placed. This is how I approach dyeing.
